What we do: A new era of advertising during hold times
Every day, millions of calls are placed on hold, creating countless minutes of wasted airtime that businesses, telecom companies and advertisers overlook. ROTOR Network changes the game by turning these moments into an engaging advertising medium. Our platform seamlessly integrates with businesses and telecom providers to deliver targeted audio ads whenever a caller is placed on hold or in a call queue. For the first time, brands can connect with audiences in a non-intrusive, captive environment, all while creating new revenue streams for businesses.

On-Hold, On-Target, On-Point: Turning Idle Time Into Prime Time
While digital and traditional advertising spaces are increasingly crowded, ROTOR opens up a brand new frontier: the on-hold and call queue space – a hitherto untapped market. Think of it: across the world, daily on-hold times exceed millions of minutes, presenting a massive advertising landscape. Globally, it is estimated that callers spend roughly 13.2 billion minutes on hold per year. And if you take into account call queue times, you could comfortably quadruple that number. We turn this ‘dead time’ into a dynamic, profitable platform, unlike any other form of media.
Price Guide for Advertisers
Our pricing structure is simple: we charge 1 cent per second. So, a ten-second ad will cost 10 cents per play. This is easily scalable. For example:

The chart above is just a guide. An advertiser can submit an ad for 16 seconds or 43 seconds, or however many seconds they want. They can also purchase an odd number of plays, from, say, 552 to 3,480 to 1 million +. It is entirely up to the advertiser’s and their budgets / strategies.
50% of the revenue generated from the ads is distributed to the hosts who play the ads on their hold and queue times. Thus, the host will receive 0.5 cents per second during hold times.
Flexible Campaign Options for Any Budget
We understand that not all advertisers are ready to commit to large-scale campaigns upfront. That’s why we offer the flexibility to launch a series of smaller campaigns—starting with as little as 1,000 ad plays per day or per week, depending on your budget. This approach allows you to gradually build your presence, promote your brand, or advertise your product or service without a hefty upfront cost. Over time, these smaller campaigns can have the same powerful effect as a larger campaign, spreading awareness and driving engagement at a pace that suits your budget. Pay as you go, and watch your brand grow!
Discounts for Early Adopters
If you are considering a large ad campaign, ROTOR Network is currently offering discounts. We can offer 25% off ad campaigns with 1 million+ ad plays, and 50% off campaigns with 10 million+ ad plays. If interested in these deals, please contact us directly here.
Revenue Potential for Hosts
Hosts can get a rough estimate of their annual revenue potential by simply calculating the average number of calls their company receives per day, the average hold time and call queue time (in seconds), and multiply it by 365, and multiply again by 0.005. For example:
100 calls per day, with an average of 4 minutes hold time (240 seconds), x 365 x 0.005 = $43,800
1000 calls per day, with an average of 4 minutes hold time (240,000 seconds), x 365 x 0.005 = $438,000
10,000 calls per day, with an average of 4 minutes hold time (2.4 million seconds), x 365 x 0.005 = $4.38 million
50,000 calls per day, with an average of 4 minutes hold time (12 million seconds), x 365 x 0.005 = $21.9 million
100,000 calls per day, with an average of 4 minutes hold time (24 million seconds), x 365 x 0.005 = $43.8 million
As you can see, even small companies that receive a relatively small number of calls per day can generate a lucrative extra annual income with no fuss. Major call centres and businesses taking in excess of 100,000 calls per day can generate tens of millions per year.
Please note – the numbers above would depend on a full schedule of ads taking up all available hold times and running at full capacity. However, some hosts may prefer to limit the number of ads per hold time, so as not to overwhelm their callers.
